Megan Gordon, director of His School of Dance, accepted Christ as her savior when she was four and is committed to making him Lord of her life. She has been dancing since she was 9 years old when she began taking classes from Celebration Ministry of Arts in Denver, CO where she was trained by young women to use dance to worship God. She continued her technical training in dance including classes in ballet, jazz, and modern with the Sangre de Cristo Ballet Theatre in Pueblo where she also worked as an administrative assistant. In 2003, Megan and her best friend Laura Winship founded His School of Dance with the desire to teach other girls in Pueblo to worship God through dance. Laura's move later that year left His School of Dance under Megan Gordon's direction. In the summer of 2005, she participated in Ballet Magnificat's Summer Intensive where she was trained in her technique as a dancer and as a teacher as well as discipled in her relationship with God. She is passionate about missions and has served in Argentina, Mexico, Spain, Serbia, Montenegro, and around the United States. Megan recently graduated from Colorado State University - Pueblo, Summa Cum Laude, with degrees in Spanish and Music. It is her desire to use dance to lead other girls and boys in worship of the Lord Jesus Christ.
